Hi All,
I have shot for many years starting in the 70s with 0.22 target rifles. Then onto full bore pistols and rifles at Huncote in the eighties. After the pistol ban In took up clay pigeon shooting and was a committee member for many years. then late last year I was introduced to the Kibworth target shooting club of which I am now a member. This fired up an interest in old cartridge black powder rifles which I have started to collect . I am going to turn my hand to reloading for these old rifles and to this end I am organising equipment at the moment and trying to gather information and hints on reloading.
Typical examples either owned to desired are , Swiss Vetterli , Italian Vetterli , Mauser 1871/84 , dutch beaumont , Kropatschek 8mm ,Chassepot 11mm cartridge, chassepot needle rifle, Argentinian rolling block, etc funds allowing.
This should see me well into retirement
Regards to all.
