Front sight for Winchester 290 semi-auto

Hope someone can help with a place that could supply a front sight for Winchester 290 .22 semi auto. When I was adjusting the front sight using a small brass drift and hammer the bead dropped off the front sight, metal looked very dirty on the break so its either been cracked a long time or been repaired before and the sight looks like its cast so would be brittle.

You could try Ebay...there may be an American seller with one, or a similar one that would fit.
Or, if the 'CGC' you're in is the Dorset one...have you tried Tals?

Done ebay no luck as yet. Not be down range but that was next stop (Tals) if no luck.

I've been checking ebay and the rest of the net for a 1926 Winchester 57 peep-sight for years...but to no avail...
...you should be able to find something that would fit that model eventually though...good luck
