Was this brass from the American Eagle line of ammo?
In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

Crimped primers mean the primer is harder to remove with a press and the primer pocket will need work with a primer pocket reamer or something before you can reprime it. Google for crimped primer vs non crimped primer.

as above, primers are crimped in. just needs a few turns with a chamfer tool (which i can supply), then new primers seat fine after.
