Ladies and Gents

I've just spotted this on the UK F Class website, it may be of interest for any potential new competitiors.

It's a training weekend at Bisley in February.

I missed this years but heard some good reports from people who did attend so I for one will make a note in my diary.

Thanks for the heads up.

You need to be looking at the F-TR class which is limited to .223 and .308 calibres, click on the F/TR only tab on the linked website, it gives some insight into what it's about.

To get the best performance and accuracy out of most rifles you really need to reload. Getting the best combination of bullet/powder/primer and case to suit your rifle. Bearing in mind that they shoot out to 1000 yards getting velocities that will keep the bullet supersonic at those distances is vital.

I checked out the web site etc.
Interesting.
No way I can afford to get into F class I will stick with my milsurps for the fun of it and continue to punch the middle out of my target at 300yds with the steyr with my hand loads and make do thank you.
But good luck guys enjoy.

That will get you into F/TR! I shoot 155 Laps with N540 through a 24" barrel to 1000 comfortably and they work at 1200, all part of the fun.

I shoot either 155g Hornady A max or 155g Laps I use NI40. Never tried N540 may be I should give it a try the longest distance I have shot the steyr over is 600yds it does the buisness as long as I play my part.
