Very big fan of Swedes. Finnish things are a recent trend.
Trade at shows in Sweden (when the flights allow travel)
BIG fan of the AG42. Played with one in New Zealand.
Septic in the video made a couple mistakes...
These were a one per squad weapon, not general issue.
Sweden kept the M96 until they went to the AK4 (G3)
AG42 = possibly the best semi auto of WW2

Nah! You're thinking of the German FG42. Now THAT was a serious piece of kit and it's probably as well for us it didn't hit the streets in far greater numbers than it did.

I handled a S.1 FG42 in the mid-80's, though was a few quid shy of the £20,000 retail pricesnayperskaya wrote: I like Swedes to...... Victoria Silvsted would do nicely!![]()
The FG42 was light because it was designed for Fallschirmjäger, rather than them jump with the MG42.It was also select-fire, switchable between semi and full auto. The Yanks were so impressed with it they used it as the basis for the M60.
I thought I'd mention it as some people reading this may not be familiar with the whys and wherefores of the designsaddler wrote:I handled a S.1 FG42 in the mid-80's, though was a few quid shy of the £20,000 retail pricesnayperskaya wrote: I like Swedes to......
