I'm in the planning faze of a new rifle and am after the advice and input from the fellow members on here.
Whats in the planning is a safari rifle.
Last time I went to Africa I took a rem 700 in .308 which did a great job. Although something with a bit more stopping power would be ideal.
Plus it has to be very accurate.
The key to this one is I'm looking at a left handed action.
All thoughts appreciated.
Kind Regards
Rob

I took a Sako TRG in 416 Rem Mag!!!
Overgunned yes but I was taking single shot kills to 360 yds (on a Springbok)
I'd reckon a 7mm Rem Mag is what you'd do well with.

Quetion in return?
What do you want: Long range shooting on soft skinned targets or close stopping power on big horned or tusked?
