Anyone noticed they have put the price up on the quick detach mounts think they were £178 there now £231.81.

It's probably the strength of the dollar.

Yeh you're right. The dollar has soared recently but it doesn't account for a 23% increase.

Are you thinking of buying one

I already have one and it's an excellent mount. I just heard from a club member the other day that she had bought one but it was more expensive than I had told her. So I checked the website and the price had risen. I thought I'd comment on here just to see if anyone new why that's all. The mount is of excellent quality and I would recommend them still.

I only asked as I have a 2" offset one that's never been out of the box that I have no use for that's at the old price, if you were after one

They seem to run around the 200 dollar mark in the US. I tend to work on a direct correlation dollar/pound, give or take 10%, when looking to see how much something in the States will cost getting it to the UK, with shipping, VAT, excise and the likes.

200 dollars plus 10% swapped for pounds, 220 quid. Yep, about what I thought it would be. I was looking for one, but I reckon I'll go with the Burris. At 87 dollars, it should come in under 100 quid by the time I get it....

Aren't you forgetting import duty as well?
