Is anyone here shooting the Walther Arms UZI .22LR and if so any feedback or thoughts on it? Also are any of the original chassis parts (Not pressure bearing!) interchangeable.

Here is mine, thoughts are as follows.
Trigger is not particularly nice and almost every one I have seen has the grip safety taped up.
Reliability very good, can't remember ever having a missfire or jam.
Easy to mod the top cover to add a short rail for red dot, TRS-25 is perfect for co-witness.
Have seen a UK model with fixed wooden stock and shortened barrel with no fake mod, looked quite nice.
Not too bad for the money, very solid firearm and cheaper than a deact with the bonus of being fun to shoot.

I had one, and got bored of it pretty quickly so I sold it.
Trigger is awful, grip safety is a pain, magazines are crap, sights are crap and adding an optic to the top plate is less than ideal.
They're fun.. for about 5 minutes. But they do look cool!

Oh, and yes, I believe some of the original parts are interchangeable.

Is the UK version with the 17.5" barrel, I have been looking for the specification however cannot find the dimensions for it.

Ah, found it, I was wondering of the barrel could be shortened any however it looks like the folded length is the limiting factor and at best only a couple of inches could be lopped off the end.
Caliber: .22 Long Rifle
Mag Capacity: 10, 20 rnds
Weight w/out Mag: 7.5 lbs
Overall Length: 26.1 – 33.3 in
Barrel Length: 16.1 in
Barrel Twist: 1 in 13-3/4 in
Grooves: 6
Operation: Blowback

The wife has one and loves shooting it. All the gripes are mentioned above but also the stock can be a bit uncomfortable.
Porting the barrel inside the moderator might make it work 'properly'.
I would love to find a fixed stock for it though, any more info on the one you saw Dan?

I must admit the idea of shortening the barrel by a couple of inches, counter boring and porting the barrel and building a full length reflex can has crossed my mind.

Love mine.....but it's up for sale if you're interested....
I've seen the fixed stock converson as well, looks good and more 'original'. Wife and kids are off to Israel in 6 weeks and, if I can't sell it on, I'm hoping they'll bring me back a stock and padded Uzi sling so I can do a conversion.

I'd take £350 (+ transfer cost) for the gun and 2 spare mags (3 in total).
Good fun gun but looking to finance a Sec1 shotgun

Found it
here, you may need to be a member to view the link so here is a pic and details. I bet the wood stock fixes the cheek weld issue you get with the folding stock.
uzi .22 with fixed wood stock as barrel has been shortened with 1/2 unf for mod comes with original metal stock but has been welded open mod not included £450 FTF comes with 2 mags
