Hay guys I'm have a cmmg mk4 ar15 on the way and I considdering having the barrel cut down to 12.5 inches to make it a short barrel rifle I want to have it as a plinker and General fun gun it will also have a moderator fitted as I want it to look similar in appearance to the mk18 rifle. Anyway the reason for this post is to see if anyone on here has done anything similar and if you have would you mind sharing some pics of your rifle on here as I'm very interested in seeing what you have done.
Thanks guys

Bradley Arms
12" barrel
SAK mod
Ace stock
Acog
Hogue grip
CMMG 3rd gen mags
Not exactly what you are aiming for but gives you an idea of what a 12" barrel and mod looks like on the AR platform.

Not a great picture of the business end, but this is my ST-22 with a 12" barrel and a Noveske KX3 brake. What caliber is it? .223/5.56 or .22LR?

Looking good! gents did you have to break your rifles in with HV ammo when you first got it or was it ok from the start.

From the start my CMMG's diet is mainly the club's cheapo Blazer & CCI Minimags when Ivor gets them. I noticed abt 1 cm PoA/PoI difference between the 2 at 25 yrads.

Not really - tried a few brands of subsonic and it worked fine with them all.
I did find that it was very sensitive ( fte ftf ) to pressure on mag during grip at magwell.
Fitted the forward grip and its been fine since.

I get that -but it's not just "anglosised" - it's "canadianised" too - I have to drive in km/hr here and buy gas in liters, but I calculate everything else in mph and miles per gallon...... metric sucks.
