Section1 pump action

I've decided that I really need a Section 1 pump action shotgun in the cabinet. Problem is I don't know what to ask for on the variation. Do I say that it is for target shooting and what wording do they like to see? Initially for familiarisation at one of my clubs then possibly PSG.

You need a section 1 shotgun to partake in PSG - for PSG you will also need slug.

does your club run PSG comps?
my good reason was belonging to BWSS for which it is recognised to need sec1's and PSG as Oundle run comps

that's no fun, take about bursting the image I had. Hope it's all good when done. How come not that many use 1887 repro's in bwss?

too slow. 1897's have a huge port, you can pretty much throw the shell in... some folk can still use a side by side quicker. it's all about practice

I first learnt about that form of bwss from aussies and since the 1887 and side by side is all they got, that is what I gleamed from. Even then they seemed to prefer sxs. I did toy with getting a norinco 1897 I once saw but let it go (my adult sister and too many of the young kids I get looking after like that frozen stuff too much so it rubs onto me). I worry slightly about having a right ejecting pump gun. Is that something as a lefty that will screw me up?

Not PSG I know but I have broken many clays with my (sec.2) mossberg pump without incident as a lefty

So RH ejection port is not an issue then?
