Penningtons sporting arms & ammunition, Castleford

Had a very good experience buying a secondhand Uberti from pennington sporting arms & ammo yesterday.

Rather a long drive up to Castleford but very pleasant manner by email, phone and in person and a very fair price for the rifle and some ammo I bought. Seem to carry a good range of stock.

Many local RFDs could learn something from them. :good:

Do they have a website or list of what's for sale anywhere Zanes?

They had stuff listed on Guntrader until about a week ago but it looks like their subscription has lapsed?

Oh, and they're shut for two weeks from the 10th :P

Penningtons is my local, Tracey is lovely to deal with but I've always thought the ammo choice in centre and rimfire to be poor.

The price for most things is very reasonable though - including things she orders in for me (moderators etc). She's done a fair few RFD transfers for me too.

She did some work a while back to get a website going and then decided not to pursue it for various reasons.
