Hello from Hamilton

#1 Post by scanbran »

Just joined the forum after browsing it for several weeks - lots of excellent information and discussions!

Used to have an air rifle and shoot it many many years ago, and only recently regained interest in it.
I've had an air rifle for almost a year now, just shooting occasionally in the back garden, but the new legislation coming into effect up here made me consider looking for somewhere to shoot it.

I visited my local rifle club, where I discovered the fun of shooting 22LR guns, and it's made me wonder why I wanted an air rifle :D
I've now just joined as a probationary member, and have already started researching FACs, 22 rifles and gun cabinets (talk about premature!).

Anyway, I probably can't contribute much to begin with, but I look forward to particpating more in the future :good:

Thanks for the welcomes :)

Hi Sam, the nights I go vary depending on when my wife lets me out. I've been there at least once on each night except Wednesdays so far, most commonly Thursday/Friday.

Hi Sam,

I wish! Sadly I'm nowhere near ready for that yet

Still need to do the Probationers' Course.

If you're going up, I hope you get a good day for it :good:
