I was determined to leave my Ruger in it's original SR22 stock and then Magpul brings out the X22 hunter stock. So a two week delivery from Brownells UK and hey presto Ruger gets a makeover.

Don't worry, saddler is following me around contradicting me, he found out I'm a woolly liberal. I'm sure he thinks your rifle is nice too.

What is eye relief like? It appears to need one of the cheek risers you can use from the magpul shotgun stocks to give some better clearance? Or is it ok for you?

Chin weld rather than cheek weld. You can get risers specifically for the X22 but am waiting for a bit of range time before l order. Range time being dependent on Boys in Blue getting my FAC to me as they haven't enough FEO's to cover the visits for renewals 14 weeks and counting since putting renewal in and 2 weeks since the old one run out. Apparently it is printed but can't have it until l get my visit.

I meant to say cheek wield (though I guess I might have taken eye relief in the context of that being nearly the same, my bad). Jesus that is long for a renewal. Renewals aren't too bad in my neck of the woods. Plus my one for one was turned around pretty quick. Just waiting on a few things now. Had some other things to take my mind off shooting also.

If you need the risers I suspect they are the same as for the shotgun stock. I'm guessing the magpul 700 hunter is out too?

I was looking at getting this stock too, but there have been more than a few reports of it opening up groups, and others claiming it's the best thing since sliced bread.

The grip angle puts me off the stock
