38 S&W Cases

#1 Post by FredB »

Does anybody have any 38 S&W (not 38 Special) cases they don't want?

I could use 150 or so. I want to try them in .380 Rook as an alternative to cut down 38 specials----boxer primed of course.

I have been using 38 Special cases for about 20 years. The 380 case is a nominal .005" greater in diameter and actually tapers slightly. I have a rifle with a loose chamber and so I anneal the cut down 38 Specials and then fire form them. A friend has a similarly chambered rifle and uses 380 cases with good results'
