Where to buy in Europe

As Alpinhunting isn't responding to my emails, and Shooting-Supplies appears to be "out of stock", I'm looking for European suppliers of Lapua and Norma bullets.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.......

In the UK that would be Hannams for Lapua and RUAG for Norma and technically we are in the EU...

And RUAG's dealer locator apparently lists any dealer who ever bought anything from them...........I just spoke to one who said he did buy something from them once years ago, but no longer does so.

I've bought from Ballistic Service in Germany previously. You get crazy savings on Lapua bullets when you by them by the thousand. For example, they currently sell 155gr .308 bullets (GB 491 Scenar) bullets for 288,63€ per thousand. With an exchange rate of 1GBP = 1.36EUR (as of 16th October 2015) so that makes these bullets £21.20 per hundred (excluding shipping)! Back in June I received an order of 2,000 bullets and 200 brass cases, took around 1 month to receive the .308 bullets and 3 months total to receive the 6.5mm bullets and 6.5x47 Lapua brass cases. The shipping cost was around €17 so very good! Obviously the downside is that you have to place your order well in advance of what you want.

Heinz was quick at replying to e-mails and kept me up to date with my order. However, he only takes payment via bank transfer. Not a deal breaker for me though.

I've also recently bought from Shooting-Supplies based in Luxembourg. I 500 .223 Lapua bullets (GB 541 Scenar) at €162. Again, given todays exchange rate that's £23.81 per hundred. Not that much of a cost saving, but I also bought 500 6.5mm Lapua bullets (GB 489) at €164.30 which works out to be £24.14 per hundred. They were very quick at e-mail replies and their English was exceptional. Delivery was inexpensive, less than €15 definitely I can't remember, and was with me in 4 working days.

Would highly recommend both of the above!

Heinz is a pleasure to deal with.

The so-called UK gun trade does not do the sport any favours. How many times do you hear "It's the exchange rate, mate" and other pitiful excuses?

I've used a few German suppliers via the eGun.de site (a sort of eBay for shooting stuff), I've also used Shooting Supplies and found them very cheap and excellent to deal with.

The bank transfer payment isn't a problem, most UK banks want silly money to transfer funds so I use GlobalWebPay, cost is fixed fee of £4.50 per transaction and sometimes if you do a second payment within a week they give you it free :)
