Browning .22 semi-auto take down rifle.

Looking for an older version of the rifle pictured. Must have the loading port on top of the wrist - not left side of stock as shown. Cosmetic condition not too important but must be mechanically sound with a good barrel

Mine has been at Dromia's for a year or so awaiting a new home.
Type A take-down....not the Type B illustrated

Have owned a few over the years....great little rifles & bowled over many a rabbit with them

They are lovely little things, my goal is to find an earlier one in reasonable condition that has not been screw cut at some point.

They're usually screw cut right at the very point, ooman. Not elsewhere...

Not personally, buy I hear that some owners of said design favoured it as it easily strips apart (even fully loaded): then TWIST, lock, cycle the bolt & ready to play....
