Hi
Finally managed to get my hands on one of these, the mp5a4 version. It come with original foregrip plus
Ris forend, and solid stock as well as a non sliding pinned sliding stock. Just wondered what extra parts
Will fit it ie any airsoft parts. Also have a few hundred minimags but is it ammo fussy or can I try some cheaper
Stuff.
Many thanks
Jay

I have the same rifle - it cycles anything - uber reliable.
You pretty much have everything to fit to it - bar a red dot of some description. I bought the Walther Red Dot designed for this gun as it might be cheap but it sure brings it up and back so it's a good fit.
I've put the Magpul RVG grip on mine which just seems more ergonomic.
Not sure if an airsoft lower can be adapted to incorporate the trigger pack but I hear tell there's a few out there with the full auto and three round burst markings (obv not working!).

What else do you want to put on there?? The beauty (literally) of the HK licensed MP5's (As opposed to the GSG ones) is that everything you'd want on it, comes with it! No need to replace the lower (i did do that with my GSG though).
As above, if you want to use a red dot sight you'll need some kind of mount. I've got a Tokoyo Mauri HK claw mount on mine which works perfectly (and repeats zero) but it does set the sight very high - but thats the price you pay to still be able to use the iron sights.
You won't get a co-witness on the sights using a bolt on picatinny rail. I've tried the lowest profile mount available with one of the smallest sights ( Bushnell TRS-25) and it still wouldn't work. Saying that, i've not tried it with my Burris Fastfire.....
Oh the only thing i've added extra was the sling clip on the side of the mag well, to complete the look (and to fill in the 3 mounting holes). I modded the GSG version but i think you can get a Walther one now.

Thanks guys. I am happy with what i have for it already, but have always liked the look of the torch foregrip so maybe would like to fit one in the future, and cant stretch to a genuine surefire grip. It did come with a claw mount but not sure what make it is, but will mount my vortex sparc 2 on it and see how that goes. And still looking for a couple more mags.

Nice kit. What's the barrel length not including the flash hider?

Barrel runs flush to the end of the flash hider, approx 12.5"

I've been wondering about one of these for a while, they've had great reviews from all and sundry. Never liked the umarex Walter ar15's as they're not to spec so none of the aftermarket internals fit but for an MP5 it's not such an issue and I suspect a lot of the aftermarket furniture fits just fine.
So the collapsible stock isn't collapsible, how's the cheek weld on it?

Would really like a pinned skeleton stock
Whats the deal with the solid/filled in magazine? All of mine have an open slot that the thumb grips on the follow run down? Or is that a long 10rder?
FYI thats not the claw mount you have, they look like this;
They have a tunnel through the middle that allows you to use the iron sights

Is it one of these and if so, is the suppressor on this just a fake can?
