GF video'd me at a comp.
Pistol decided not to work on the first go round, then decided to get on with it. 5 shots in each revolver. so 6 missfires, then 4 shots, then the empty chamber and the last one.

there's an older couple at Oundle that are into it. I think they are trying to get the BWSS to do a trial day there

Ah you mean K&G, they love it. There's at least one more ORPC member on the cowboy action shooting circuit, possibly more. It would be good if they did, we've got 300 odd members so I'm sure there will be some new recruits.

Needs more saloon girls.
Seriously, it looks like pretty good fun, lots of outlay on kit though.
Could I turn up in nikes and jeans and shoot instead of wearing western clothes?

yes, they want people joining and partaking, but they would like to see you starting to get bits over time, my hat cost me £40, shirt is primarni, pair of boots and jeans, seems to keep them happy.
the leather is a lot dearer, but you can borrow it, my belt rig was around £200, with one new holster, one 2ndhand and a used once belt. but thats the only rig you'd ever buy (unless you fancy a change at some point).
but yeah, no one is expecting you to come to the first shoot suited and booted, but after a year, they would like to see some bits

Do you really need two MLRs, a SxS shotgun and a lever action for this? It looks a tiny bit silly, but it also looks like a whole lot of fun
