Red Dot sight for M&P 15-22

Hi,
I am picking my M&P on Saturday and want to fit a red dot scope on it.
Any recommendations?

I was thinking of a viper connect for one.
Its not red dot but does illuminate and with the huge FOV even at higher mags it would be a good scope, used one for hunting for years and still have a prototype.
They are close eye relief which wont be a problem with a rimmie but be careful if you come on aim a bit rapid...

Vortex Strikefire II, red/green illum good dot size, excellent warranty and within your budget.
Also get the killflash sunshade, helps if you're shooting into a low sun at some ranges.

I love my (genuine) Eotech 512 and it uses cheap batteries, a bit pricey but they come up for around £200 second hand. There is also a Bushnell version (I bought one off ebay) which is identical electronically but cheaper materials hence much lower price.
I find the laser circle and dot perfect for mini rifle at any distance.

Vortex Spitfire x3, Vortex Sparc II or Vortex Strikfire II but it's 4MOA so not ideal... I'm going the Spitfire x3 for mine if it helps.

The Spitfire x3 is about £279, I got my 1x Spitfire for £200, but that was a one off deal.
