Hi, I know he had a few. I also saw another on the net. But I have purchased a Huglu 20" Hammer Coach Gun for my CAS competitions. Plus it was a lot less expensive.

If It want the Norinco as well will need a second S1 slot - but that's for later on.

Glad you are sorted, the Norinco has just filled my 3rd & final S1 Shotgun slot :good: , I reckon I could still justify a 4th at a push O:-) lol

What's the minimum shot gun barrel length these days in the UK ? I thought it used to be 24", but maybe I'm wrong about that.

24" if held on Shotgun Certificate, & 24" for pump-action &/or semi-auto regardless of what certificate they are held on
Sub-24" are FAC - but barrels are NOT allowed to be sub-24" if the gun is a pump/semi (as above)

Pump/semi ALSO have a minimum overall length to meet of 40" - again, irrespective of them being on FAC or SGC (only difference with these platforms is magazine capacity)
All other shotguns are free of the OAL rule

Thanks, that explains it.

There are some weird shot gun regs over here too. It's illegal to cut down a shot gun barrel to under 18", do it and you could be in serious trouble , but you can buy a new shot gun with a barrel as short as 8 1/2 ". No sense in any of it.

Sawing off a shotgun can mean serious prison time – but loophole allows new shotguns with 8.5-inch barrels.

Take a look ......... http://globalnews.ca/news/365045/sawing ... h-barrels/

Well it was a 28" barrel, it's now 18 3/4 " and much more user friendly :)

I know I asked on another thread Saddler but was that Adler I linked with the pistol grip the 16 inch barrel model you mentioned as being uk legal? Do you or someone else have a plan to bring the Adler's to the uk?

The 16" Adler would be Section 1 as it meets the 12"/24" minimum rule.
I know someone making enquiries...
