My GSG 522SD

Having got married at the start of the year Mrs Livefast offered to buy me a gun as a wedding present. I'd always fancied a black rifle for the competitions held at our club but had been put off by the price of most.
Que some internet research and I saw the GSG 522SD at an very agreeable price at Braces in Bristol. I drove straight down there and after fondling the gun for a few moments I didn't need much persuasion to add it to my collection!
Having owned it for 7 months I can honestly say it is the most reliable semi automatic .22lr I have ever owned. I usually run it on CCI Blazers but I have used CCI standard and subsonic without any issues. Cleaning is a bit of a chore but not too bad once you get used to it, some HK push pins will work wonders. Construction is mostly metal and feels good in the hand, the weight is not to far off a real MP5.
I've now replaced the nasty plastic scope rail with an alloy claw mount and treated myself to a Vortex Sparc 2 from blackrifle as a Christmas pressie. Problem is this rifle is so much fun it costs you a fortune in ammo, lucky my will power held on the 105 round drum magazine!
