NOE slug mould.

Just to let anyone who is interested know that there is a discussion thread over on the NOE forum about having them cut a 12 bore slug mould based on the Lyman 525gn, waisted, hollow based slug.

Ten people signing up will get the mould done.

Timely

I'd just had a rely from Mihec molds in Europe about his similar double cavity 525gr sabot slug mold.
Wil have to see which looks best...

As the NOE mould is in the discussion stage it means you can contribute to its specification.

Number of cavities is limited by the maximum block size.

The LEE buckshot molds are a good length....

Thought it may have been down to a cast weights/cooling time ratio.

Each maker will have their own standard block size(s) that their machinery will be set up for.
