firearm certificate app' form ques'
Hello all, I am new to the forum & looking for advice. I want to buy a .22 rimfire for vermin control on the land I own & have chickens on. On page 3 of the firearm certificate app' form it ask for cal' & type of firearm. I want a winchester .22 is that what I put in the type column? Also is that what forum users call "slots" ie should I put down more than one type of gun in case I want a different type in the future. Rgds Dw.

I would put .22 rimfire (or .22lr if you're not worried about other rimfires) in the calibre column and RIFLE in the type column.
Who? Me? Really?

My ticket says ".22RF rifle" which is suitably vague!

^^^^ As above ^^^
You can then buy either a magazine-fed bolt action , a semi-auto or a single shot .22.

Re: firearm certificate app' form ques'
You do not write down Make, Model or action type. Just .22 RF in the calibre section and Rifle under type of firearm.

Many thanks for the replies, that makes that section clearer. Rgds DW.
