The past week has seen persistent easterly gales coming in across the North Sea. They have been stacking the water up at the shore making seaside walks bracing and interesting. One morning we were trapped in when a forty foot larch blew down across the road, at least it saved me felling one for next winter.

It certainly looks a bit lumpy

The setting for the rig looks very moody, almost calm, until you notice the sea on the horizon, in front of the hills.

Good pictures, how far from the coast are you?

1,000 yrds as the crow flies, in calmer weather.

Hmm... close enough. At least the sea here has a dozen miles and a few hundred feet in height to get to us.
