Windy weather.

The past week has seen persistent easterly gales coming in across the North Sea. They have been stacking the water up at the shore making seaside walks bracing and interesting. One morning we were trapped in when a forty foot larch blew down across the road, at least it saved me felling one for next winter.
Some sea photographs:

A rig riding out the storm in the firth.

The sea birds were struggling to hold their own in the wind.
