Has anyone had a bash at making their own nitrocellulose glue, or alternatively is it easy enough to buy here in the UK?

EDIT - Just a thought, is this the same stuff as the cellulose dope for model aeroplanes?

Try and mix a teaspoon of nitro powder with some cellulose thinners, it slowly dissolves and sets into a rock hard lump. Table tennis balls also do the same. I've tried to make fuel pellets for old Jextex powder model planes in the past.

I used to love Jetex engines, I've got a Keilcraft Mig with a Jetex engine somewhere.

I'm sure it still has some fuel pellets, in a little plastic case. It was the fuse I ran out of.

Ah yes, Jetex. I remember tying one to a Matchbox car, I melted the track and burnt my fingers.

Many thanks 1066, I will give it a try.
