The Hi Power taken from Col Gaddafi tracked down.

Wonder what it would fetch in a US auction.

Believe they were priced around $4k new.

Remember my local gun shop (Range Supplies Glasgow - Bruce Waugh) had a Silver Renaissance version for sale in the mid eighties for £1,500.

I had a Browning Hi-Power many moons ago. Great pistols. It wasn't quite as nice as that one, though.

Worked there for a while some decades back

Always liked the Asprey ones.

My favourite GP35 was the Practical with the two tone finish & Pachmayr grips
