I'm keen to get hold of original military .303 ammo in any mark and preferably British made. Does anyone have or know of any for sale. Also keen to get hold of some original .303 bullets for reloading.

Got two 48-rd packs. One still has the sellophane wrap.

British manufactured .303 is incredibly scarce these days and people with it are holding onto it. I know of someone with two unopened wooden crates and as he pointed out, it is worth a lot more in the crate than at the range. You may find some Indian stuff floating around. If you do find and decide to shoot it take care as some has a tendency to hang-fire and performance can be best described as sketchy.

There was some Winchester 303 going around about 15 years ago.
It was WW2 date marked and "for aircraft use only".
It was total poo to use due to the aforementioned hang fire.
However the fired cases sold for more than the ammo cost!

I used to really rate the Pakastani 303, it, along with some of the dodgy South African stuff was the best training aid for flinch spotting and follow through ever devised.

I shot some of that it was stunning because of aircraft use it has a bigger primer than the std 303 just to make sure it it goes & does not block the gun & boy did it go! The primer alone would take the round out the barrel.

lol. I sometimes slip a snap cap into a mag if I'm training new shooters, very instructive!
