My daughter is a Navy Nurse and has served at Bastion. She showed me her portfolio, it is all photographed/video'd for training. An interesting form of butchery I must say and that is after 32 years in the fire service.

I saw someone get a 5.56 round though the back of his heel at very close range. He'll never walk again without a stick. The reality of getting shot is very different to what most people expect having only been exposed to it on the TV.

that is exactly what I thought after a colleague drew my attention to it, read it then thought, what was the point of that except to try and whip up some random hysteria.

pity they didnt concentrate on what happens when kids take legal highs, or ecstacy, or majawana, or any of a thousand things killing people in this country so much more than the more or less mythical gun crime.
