My new handguns

24" and less, a place to discuss all things handgun related, section 7.3. Long barrelled revolvers, long barrelled pistols and section 5. Overseas contributions are more than welcome.

Finally picked up these two recently, thought I'd take the opportunity to show them off.

Maybe just a little lol

They're both great, but I really love the S&W, feel like I can't miss with it.

I enjoyed shooting CZ 75s (amongst other things) when I was in NI. Very reliable but it felt rather 'unrefined' to me.

I was always a fan of the CZ75 along with the 686 - A very good combination!

Is it possible/legal to go to a shooting club in Norniron and shoot pistol as a non member?

Obviously a valid UK FAC and other forms of ID would be available...

Never liked the extended, railed dust covers or the hooked trigger guards of the modern versions. Mine had the graceful lines of the original and the round trigger guard together with a spur hammer. I reckon when it was surrendered in '97, it must have had close to 100K rounds thought it! An outstanding pistol...

Still prefered my Hi-Power though....
In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

Guns dont kill people. Dads with pretty Daughters do...!
