Nothing but good things to say about Oleg's service and enthusiasm on a recent trip and purchase to and from him.
Even sent a DVD of a Soviet war film in the post the following week completely out of the blue (easy to please me).
If you are looking for AK bits and pieces worth giving him a call.

Always had good service from Tovarisch Oleg as well......I've had three rifles and numerousbits and bobs from him.
And if it's a copy of 9th Company he sent you it is a very good film, based on events surrounding the Battle for Hill 3234 (named after it's elevation in metres) and a must for anyone interested in the Soviet Afghan conflict as the weapons, equipment and uniforms etc are spot on for that period.I have the collectors edition which includes interviews with veterans of the conflict, a look into the background of the war and how it is viewed today.

Yes that was the one. I know he probably has a job lot but it was the fact he took timeout to dig it out and send in the post after the event. Looking forward to watch it this weekend.

Yeah, Oleg is a lovely bloke. It's a double treat to pop over to his place as he's well into motorbikes too - particularly Russian military sidecar outfits.

I wish his Vepr 12 prices were more reasonable...

Somebody might have an explanation for why they are that much, but they are what they are, great quality, better than a lot of stuff on the market and Saiga's aren't coming back any time soon. I'm surprised other plant's haven't picked up the ak platform shotgun yet (We can't get Catamount furies so those don't count).

I'm sure they are, but dearer than a Benelli?...
I'd love one, & so would a lot of shooters I know, but not at that price.
I think he's missing a trick, at the right price he'd shift a ton of them, rather than the handful that are out there.
This is a gun than retails for $640 in Russia.
...& it needs a 24" barrel.

No different to the Izhmash Tigr/SVD, seen those on Russian sites for $850 and we pay 2k plus for a new one......call me biased but from the ones I've shot I'd say the Vepr is worth every penny if only for the grin factor alone.Same with the Tigr/SVD, mine never fails to get attention at the range and everyone wants to know what it is and again for me it's worth every penny I paid for it, not everyones cup of tea but I love mine.
