NSRA Shop passing shooter details to USA

I was looking to purchase some target patches this morning (having used up the last of them at Altcar yesterday).
The NSRA shop had them in stock so I duly went through the process of shoving them into my online basket then proceeding to the checkout.
I'd put my details in as normal then noticed the following statement at the bottom of the page (which appeared to be a mandatory requirement if I wanted to continue with the transaction).
* BY CONTINUING, I AGREE THAT MY INFORMATION WILL BE TRANSFERRED TO THE UNITED STATES*
Now .... a simple question! WTF is
THAT all about?
Since
WHEN did the UK NSRA become an information collecting agency for the US Government?
I'm not so daft to think that in this post-Snowden era, the Feds don't already have more than enough information about me as it is but for the UK NSRA to be doing this so blatently is for me ..... a damn cheek and totally out of order!
Needless to say, I'll be buying my patches elsewhere.

Might it just not be the case that the server where the data is stored is in the US, rather than them handing it over to 'big yankee brother'?

Or that eerie silence before that Hellfire hits Mezzer's roof ...
BTW somebody ought to explain to him that those "2nd amendment-Obama-from-my-dead-body" targets do carry a health warning in small prints for a good reason ...

Everyone seems to be harvesting data these days,Amazon,Google,Faceache etc.
I have recently endured an edoscopy(camera down the throat).
I was asked lots of irelevent questions on my forms all to help the private insurance companies up my premiums when the NHS gets completely sold or given to Dave and his Chums.

That's not the spams, it's just the local gypsies!
I used to love driving my pickup round Morecambe as everyone assumed you were a gypo and left well alone.

The handling of on-line payments via debit or credit cards will be through a third party, usually the card provider not the merchant. Visa and Mastercard are American owned, your bank issues debit/credit cards on their behalf. Maybe if you are so worried about Americsn companies owning your data stop using your cards and using the internet.
