Venezuela - minimum age of 25 to own a firearm, license to carry re-tested every year, test every 2 years for hunting, theoretical and practical tests to qualify....


Oh wait, that was before they banned commercial sales and private ownership of firearms in 2012...

In Valenzuela it's likely the thug killed an off duty soldier or cop in order to obtain his firearm - a bad person dying cleanses the world a smidgen. I'd call that a happy ending.

Getting shot is an occupational hazard for the bad guys. In this case the risk was fully realised and the cop did a good job. Putting the boot in at the end was probably a bit OTT but perfectly understandable in the circumstances.
