Yes I just bought some unfortunately they were the wrong size.(my fault) So its turning out to be an expensive do to reload for my new .222. Thought I would see if I could pick one up cheap before I fork out another £24.
I really must learn how to make bushings properly. I could buy a length of silver steel for £24 and make a dozen if I could work out what I was doing wrong.. But in the mean time I need a .244 bushing.

Bushings are fun to make, the trick is to keep the material in the machine and do all the ops without removing it so With just the required length hanging out of the chuck pilot drill then face off for a datum and machine the OD to plus .010" then bore the ID to size, I use solid carbide micro boring bars. Let the final cut wash out with cuts in both directions so the bore is parallel then machine to the final OD and part off a few thou over length. Finally reverse the bush and face to length. It does not take many minutes. You can also get sold carbide bushings ground to size for reasonable money.

I'll have to have another go at it. I'm struggling to find the time at the moment.
