The public and cameras - dumb as a gaggle of politicians!

Are people REALLY so terminally stupid nowadays that they'll film their own potential murders? As bad as those cretins doing selfies with a hijacker a few weeks ago on an Egyt Air flight

It's the age of the selfie, Chuck. It doesn't seem to matter what the occasion is as long as you have a piccy.

Will Willden, for Watson, said he got the BB gun for self-defence after he was threatened by a man who had also approached his mother's home. He added that he would threaten any attacker if approached.

As for the numpty with the gun, he got off very lightly with 20 months. With his attitude, he should have got life. Playing gangsters with a BB gun is one thing, but he's probably only one step away from having the real thing.

Agree Les, the fact he fumbled and faffed about trying to draw it would have given anyone with a modicum of survival instainct a chance to leg it..................... or jump all over him.

Seems that survival is not so important as the insane desire to video what could be one's own murder. Looks like a whole generation HAS been dumbed downn to sub Darwin levels.!

Imagine filming your own murder - and then your phone gets nicked... "Selfie: me and the dum sucker I just killed."

It's too bad those women didn't overcome the pasty-faced pimple-squeezer, shove that BB gun up his orifice, and squeeze the trigger until it went 'phut' whilst filming it.
