Today I collected the second rifle I have purchased from Oakrise Arms and I have nothing but praise for the excellent service I have received from Stewart on both occasions.I made the payment for the latest one late on Tuesday night and the rifle arrived at my RFD first thing Thursday morning and it is a very nice honest rifle that was very reasonably priced and exactly as described. As I said it is the second rifle I have had from Stewart and wouldn't hesitate to place another order :good:

By the way the rifle in question is a very nice 1926 Izhevsk M91 Dragoon, which was upgraded to M91/30 spec post-1930.The bore is excellent for a 90 year old rifle and pretty much matching serial numbers.

I agree I bought a mosin sniper from oakrise arms beginning of the year and he is good to deal with, and unlike others he responds to emails promptly and agreed to send me some very detailed photos of the rifle. So I would definatley buy from him again.

Thank you Tovarischi ussrflag

I have spent a few days cleaning the old Babushka and I have also shimming the action, free floated the barrel in the stock and handguard, and placed the old oil canvas pad around the barrel near the forend, and also polished all the machining marks etc off the sear and trigger, fitted a trigger spring to take up the slack in the trigger that all Mosins seem to have and stripped, fettled and lubed the bolt assembly. She now cycles as smooth as any butter and the trigger pull is greatly improved.
