They are claiming "millions" of firearms...

Certainly looks like there could be some pieces in there of interest to some people on here.

Move along Tovarischi, nothing to see here, keep moving! ussrflag

Dark Skies..... Probably not that excited as there are hundreds, if not thousands, of warehouses like this all over Russia and the Former Soviet States. It is warehouses like these that our batches of Mosins come from and where all the old weapons that are being used in Ukraine have come from, including mint condition WW1 Maxims etc.All the old MG-42s etc will be All captured stuff and not so long back a load of "brand new" Shermans that were shipped to Russia as part of the lend-lease programme in WW2 were discovered in a Russian military depot warehouse exactly where they were originally placed all those years ago!.

I know an RFD/importer that was going to warehouses across Russia and Ukraine, before all the trouble and sanctions, who said they have got thousands upon thousands of old weapons and ammunition in "war storage" plastered in Cosmoline as they don't throw out anything that can be used again. It's also one of the reasons there are so many Russian and Ukrainian sellers on Ebay selling mint unissued mag pouches, slings, dropcases, gas masks, uniforms, etc etc.....there is literally thousands of tons of the stuff sat in storage and as newer stuff is put into storage some of the older stuff is released to make room.

Ah.... you are there Tovarich ?

I called you but it was Natasha who picked up the phone and told me you left last night in a rush without much of an explanation. She did say you went with a big, very big suitcase & a smile on your face 8-)

It's the stock in a de-act shop. Look at the parquet flooring under one of the boxes.

Most of these places have very little or nothing in the way of security and many are completely abandoned in the middle of nowhere. The Soviet furniture I have on my AKM came from such a place near Moscow, the guy I got them of has been "aquiring" stocks and handguards etc from there for years now, all packed in Cosmoline and brown paper wrappers as good as the day they were made.
