Lee Enfields where to look?

I have just recieved my FAC and asked for some 0.303" (Lee Enfield slots); which were granted, so where should I be looking? The Devizes Gunshop looks to have some good ones, Highwood Classics seem low on stock, EDF seem very shiny but pricey. Looked at Gunstar and Guntrader but there seem to be very high prices being asked for some pretty rough rifles. So where to look, any off the radar specialists that are recommended.

First off, I'm looking for a good tidy shootable No4 and a No1 MKIII*.

Thanks

Tom

The Trafalgar Meeting at Bisley isn't too far off (15-16 October). Assuming that the normal trade fair goes ahead, there'll be one or two for sale there.

Henry Krank have some on their website. Never bought firearms from them before but have bought plenty of reloading supplies with them over the years and I have no complaints.

If the website is up to date, Highwood Classics have some new ones in that aren't listed yet.
Not sure whereabouts you are but you could also look at:
http://www.cgfirearms.co.uk/ (had quite a few last time I went, although it was a good while ago)
http://gtshooting.wixsite.com/gt-shooting (used to have some very nice ones - I bought one, also a while ago though)
http://www.pukkabundhooks.com/ (a gentleman of this parish with, I believe, some fine firearms)

Thanks all. Profile now edited to show location. I'm trying not to be my usual impulsive self and buy the first ones I see. Will have a look at the dealers suggested. Must find the time to read Skennerton's massive tome properly as well.

Worth looking at Fendland Rural Sports over at Warboys, they normally have some in,

I like C&G's offerings, he usually has quite a selection to look through, he also does rebarreling so you can have one with a brand new barrel and unissued wood if you don't want one with battlefield experience. he seems to do a wide price band, depending on what you are after. and he is in harpenden, so isn't a million miles away

I bought a Yugoslavian M48 Mauser from C&G Firearms 3 years ago. Good price, excellent quality rifle, and they even chucked in a pack of stripper clips to boot. They were really good to deal with and I would definitely buy from them again.

You could also try CPG Design in Chatteris (Jon Francis) - he has several No.4 rifles in his current online stock list. I've bought from Jon before and can recommend him.
