I opted for the 20" version too. I also bought a Boyds Evolution-style stock for it, so it's like having two rifles for the price of one. ;)

I still can't figure out why the 16" version costs more than the 20" one. Any ideas?

I have the same rifle with the grey thumbhole stock. I love it. Only change I've made is rimfire magics trigger kit which, for £15, I highly recommend..

The Barrel blanks come as a standard 20 inch and some are then cut and treaded to 16 inches thus incurring an extra cost

I have the 16" varmint evolution. Swapped the trigger spring with the rim fire magic kit and it is easily a 1moa rifle. Love it.
