I was reading about lube removal on bigger cast bullets. Apparently some guys push the lubed bullet through a die. Not a sizing die but one the same size as the bullet to shave off excess lube. Does any one do this if so what is your method of doing so.

Not quiet sure what problem you are trying to solve there Dave, how come you seem to have excess lube on your bullets, what lubing method are you using?
Best not to get the lube where you don't want it in the first place.
You can use a sizing die of the same diameter as the bullet, that would remove the lube without sizing the bullet.

On a lot of my muzzle and breech loading BP guns I just let the bore remove the excess lube.

Thanks yes that is what I was looking for Kake Kutters. I have been asked to make a set. I was not sure what he meant. I get it now.
