Competitions in Republic of Ireland????

I'm looking for an excuse to holiday in southern Ireland.
Does anyone know of any decent shoots or competitions which would be worthwhile entering? Anything .22 prone (50m /100 yard), ISSF 300m or fullbore target rifle would be just the ticket.

I have found few clubs, but nothing about open comps etc

Thanks

The NASRPC website and Facebook pages have details of the comps and a number of them are open. I'd find the type of comp you fancy and then e-mail them. You'll need a visitors permit (1 per gun at €40 a time) and these are issued by the Gardai. Whoever's organising the comp should be able to arrange this for you. It's a great place to shoot and the have a pretty vibrant competition scene.
