24" - 3 1/2" barrel. Don't think such a beast exists.
The only 24" factory barrels for the 870's are made by Mossberg....even then only in 2 3/4" chamberings.

You'll have to look for an Express Super Magnum, then chop the barrel down to length.

Sorry my knowledge of shotguns is limited - meant to say S1, Express, 12, 24 inch barrel, 2 3/4.

Was also considering a Mossberg 590.

Easier, but for 24" you'll still be restricted to either an aftermarket Mossberg barrel or cutting down a Remington barrel.

Are Carlson/Mossberg barrels easy to get hold of in the UK?

I've had no luck sourcing them......but SimG managed to locate one.

I got my Carlson barrel from Brownells! They had to ship it to my local dealer, but that was no issue. Even though marked up "Carlson" it's also marked "Made in Turkey". That said, it's actually very nice. Came with a screw in 1/4 (Modified) choke and the finish inside and out is really good. It matches the Duracoated "Remington Black" receiver very well.

And it's a 3" chambered barrel. Hi-Viz fibre optic front bead and a brass middle bead. The top of the rib is finely checkered for its whole length.
