Clubs near/around Gloucester, Gloucestershire?

I have a young student in Gloucestershire, formerly of my Regiment who is wanting see what options Club wise are available near his area. Can anyone recommend a nearby Club where he can learn more about the civi side of UK shooting?

What distances is he looking to shoot? can he travel?

Hi, i'm interested in distances up to 1000 yrds. I'm in Gloucester but traveling is not a problem

Bisley is probably as good a place as any from your location however it is still a 180 ish mile round trip.

Lookup FCSA and Offas dyke....both clubs shoot at Warminster (900 metres) and Salisbury plain...unlimited ranges.
