What have you got for sale?

Prefer a Tikka or Sako or Rem 700 etc

Not a fan of the Howa.

Cash waiting for the right rifle.

Thanks

A few options on the usual sale sites.

Any preference on barrel profile or length?

Varmint/Heavy - its use will be strictly target shooting

Mate of mine picked up a Rem 700 VLS for £650, like new it was apart from a tiny mark on the barrel from the mod. £700 is a realistic budget for a 2nd hand .308, especially as they fall out of favour for the 6.5 craze.

308 for target use would be better with as long a barrel as you can get, if you want to push the range at which you shoot
£700 should get you a reasonable S/H rifle, maybe not with glass though unless you go for something a bit older such as a Parker Hale or P14 or the like
