I'm just gathering a selection of rimfire ammo to see what the new rifle likes.
I'm aiming to try everything from subs right through to the fastest rounds available.
Whats the hottest then chaps?

CCI Stingers and Velocitors are more commonly available, but are expensive and your rifle probably wont shoot tiny groups with them.

Stingers used to be great in my mk2 Ruger...

Presuming you mean .22lr, the fastest available that I know of is a relatively new round the CCI Copper, only 21grs but moving at 1850fps!

17wsm, can move at 3000 fps.

For .22LR, no issues whatsoever. The only fly in the ointment is a couple of increases from the European manufacturers like RWS and the daft increased shipping costs from wholesalers. There's plenty out just a bit more money than it was. Still cheap in the grand scheme of things.

I buy for our (rimfire only) club so get through a few rounds...
