ok, Im not all that knowledgable about older guns, and for all I know the guy might be on some sort of wind up, but I do trust him LOL, hes a collector and we race cars together

was at a meeting this weekend and chatting with him about cars bike and shooting, he mentions that he has a mate thats trying to sell a perfume gun??

rimfire cartridge, barrel is blocked and vented out the top, only marking he mentioned was an Acorn engraved in the frame


is this a starting pistol and he is just winding me up??

Im mainly only interested in modern things, but my engineering brain hates to just accept what Im told and I like to find out and learn :)

so am I being lead by the nose up the garden path LOL, or is there such a thing

hes so damn convincing and as he so knowledgeable and trustworthy, I proper believed what he was telling me....

Well actually back at the start of the century people incorporated all sorts of things into clocks and guns and whatever else looked kewl.

he spun such a great tale, all about how he had spent ages looking, only found it in one gun book from Australia, hes out there a lot, how it was basically a high powered atomiser that places like hotels would use to fragrance a large room

Im now on a mission to get him back LOL,
