does anyone have one of these molds?

I'm searching around for bullets suitiable for using in 38 S&W and this mold seems to get mentioned a lot! It's unclear if these people beagle their molds or just use them as is and shoot slightly undersized boolits.

does anyone here use them even for 38 spl?

I don't cast yet, so I'm not really ready to go buying molds and jumping in at the deep end.

150gr SWC - not the 200gr boolit you'd usually use for the S&W

all the commercial stuff seems to be 145-150gr, a lot of people recommend it along with standard 158gr swc's. some even talk of 125gr 358 boolits, I don't want to go that light. seems NEI, accurate and NOE all now make molds for 38 S&W too, but I don't think I'm ready to cast yet, i barely find time to shoot lol!

do you have a 358-477 mold then Rog?

this is Accurate's 150gr offering, supposed to mimic the shape of the FMJ mk2 bullet, but with a flatter nose

and these are NOE's

NEI do one called the 169A for 38 S&W

Yes. Got a 358477 here, a double cavity job if my memory is wired right.
Need a loan of it?
....or want me to cast a load of bullets for ya?

(Good excuse to play with Dromias new lead pot....it's a doozey!)
