I am looking for a rifle pre 1850 for myself that is a vague shooter, if anyone has something that might fit the bill please shout.

Is 1851 any good? I have a Swiss stutzen rifle---strictly off-hand because of the stock shape---all original finish but faded. Would consider selling it to a good home.
