Hi all my name is pete and i have just joined. I am from Birmingham UK not USA

I all ready do shot guns and clays, i cant afford to do formal shoots but i do occasionally buy a walking rough shooting day. I have also this year started PSG as well and i own a black powder weapon as well. looking at redoing my FAC once again after a considerable gap in owning it,

but for now i have joined to learn more on shotgun reloading and black powder reloading and workings. which is where i am looking at , at the moment. i reload 12g and .410, with the .419 i want to remachine .303 brass to take shotgun primers to keep that legal. I also want to learn about primers and their selection and choices. as well as powder mixtures and why they are so different. I dont want to make powder or to muck about with reloading data but i do want to learn why it works in the way it does.

as for the name well i allways liked a big one and now i want to have a bigger bang for my buck, hahah
On the distant horizon is the NCAGB and UKPSG and after that possibly the rifle section and hand gun section too

Reading a good handloading book like the Lyman 50th edition would be an excellent starting point for you, then use forums like this to delve into and try and answers any specifics

i have all the present printed documents on reloading shotguns as well as the older stuff as a library as well. but very very little has ever been writen on reloading brass its all writen with a basic plastic hull as the cartridge

"but i do want to learn why it works in the way it does." This what a good Handloading manual will explain.
