AR15

Well I'm thinking of going full circle again and trying another straight pull AR15, I know Simon I had a perfectly good one but it's gone.
Anyway anything considered there doesn't seem to be an awful lot available with the usual selling sites, so if you have one and are toying with getting rid let me know, I have a vacant slot on my ticket for a .223/5.56 and some cash waiting.

What's your budget? There are a few in a local gun shop, but they're not cheap. SGC I think.

As you're on a budget, buy that A2 and then get your RFD to order this or put a variation in for a spare receiver.

Fitting is pretty straight forward, hand tools on the kitchen table if need be.

Removing the front sight base and then free floating the barrel with a suitable handguard won't cost the earth either.

For not much more there's a billet upper that could be slotted for a side charger by any gunsmith with a mill, I think Valkyrie might be slotting these uppers from the look of their recent builds.

If I had a spare slot, I'd already have bought that £800 A2, would make a great project rifle.

And if you're a leftie.

Once all the butchery is complete strip and cerakote and your rifle won't look any different to the £2K custom rifles out there.
