Not sure if they still have any in still but Fultons had some Polish M44 in for 170 quid in excellent condition.

The Polish Fabryka Broni "Lucznik" - Radom produced Mosins are very nice and often found in excellent unissued condition and early to mid-50's dated.RDC wrote:Not sure if they still have any in still but Fultons had some Polish M44 in for 170 quid in excellent condition.
If you are after a carbine with a difference this M91/38 is a bit of a rare bird and quite sought-after.......

In terms of rarity due to low production numbers (compared to Russian, Chinese and Polish etc variants) the Romanian M44's are worth a look as well. That said I owned a Soviet 1944-dated M44 that was pristine with all matching numbers that shot really well.
And by the way Tovarischi......it is Mosin, not "Moisin" and a Nagant* is a revolver!

Go for the M38 - I have both. They shoot as well as each other but the M44's bayonet snags on your gun slip all the time.
